I am Sean Michael, a Computer Science Graduate currenty based in Doha, Qatar.
I am working on some pet projects as a pass time as of now, including this website!
Aside from that, my hobbies are Dota 2 and playing music, particularly saxophone.

I spent my most of my primary and secondary years at Middle East International School, an NEASC-ACE accredited K-12 school using the American curriculum based on the Common Core standards.
I served as the Student Council Grade 11 representative in 2019 and was selected to be the Student Council President in 2020.
I graduated and got my high school diploma here with high honors because I was the 5th top student in overall grades among a batch of ~60 students.
2020 - 2023
Monash University Malaysia

After high school, I was honored and excited to be accepted into Monash University Malaysia, which, as of 2023, stands as the top 42nd university in the world according to QS World University Rankings.
I completed my Bachelor of Computer Science in Data Science on June 2023 and will have my graduation ceremony on November 2023.
My resulting GPA is 3.4/4.0

💼 Software Engineer Intern

After my second year of university, I took an internship with JurisTech as a Software Engineer Intern.
JurisTech is a leading Malaysian-based fintech company, specialising in enterprise-class software solutions for banks, financial institutions, and telecommunications companies in Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
During my 3-month internship, I gained a lot of valuable industry experience. Without going into too much detail, I was assigned to a team that was responsible for developing a loan origination and collection system for an Indonesian Finance company.
I worked with PHP as that was the main programming language the system was built upon, but I also worked with PL/SQL for the Oracle DB backend. I also configured the system be able to recieve and send API requests to and from the client's systems.
